Live a Luminous Life

Two Lights Vector

Dr. Jacob Liberman weaves together scientific principles and spiritual insights to reveal what he calls “truth beyond opinion.” He further believes that “this universe is guiding every step of our life, and that guidance is continually bringing us to our maximum potential.”

His life’s work revolves around investigating light and its therapeutic applications. After 45 years in this work, he says, “I have concluded that the intelligence of life summons us through light, guiding and illuminating our entire life’s journey.”

Liberman’s journey through light led him to advocate for a new way of seeing and being — by illuminating the connections between light, vision and consciousness.

“Each time we follow life’s invitations,” he writes in Wisdom From an Empty Mind, “we become more sensitive to its callings and develop trust. Not trust in anything specific, just trust in life.

“In other words, life lives itself through us when we stay out of the way.”

— Writer Linda M. Potter explores the work of Dr. Liberman in the March 2018 issue of Guide for Spiritual Living: Science of Mind magazine

Science As the Language of Mysticism

Dr. Joe DispenzaDr. Joe Dispenza opens his many lectures with this thought: “Science is the new language of mysticism.” And then he follows that up with scientific evidence in support of Dr. Ernest Holmes’ idea when he wrote, “We all look forward to the day when science and religion shall walk hand in hand through the visible to the invisible.”

In the March 2018 issue of Guide for Spiritual Living: Science of Mind magazine, writer Jody Morley dives into Dispenza’s approach, noting that “although Dispenza’s message is essentially a spiritual message of transformation, his delivery vehicle is unequivocally scientific.

“He suggests that we do the supernatural and then let science change its paradigm to explain it,” she writes.

Dispenza argues that we can practice having new experiences by having new emotions, breaking old habits and patterns. By doing so, we activate the law of attraction, while signaling the quantum field that we are ready for a new reality. Feelings create the magnetic part of the electro-magnetic field — that portion required to create.

He also preaches gratitude, “the ultimate state of receivership.” He draws his scientific evidence from multiple disciplines, thereby giving metaphysics a new vocabulary. His work, indeed, helps millions of people become supernatural.

Creating the Next Chapter

Group of retired people

As an attorney for 42 years, Richard Turner made people angry. At age 79, he now pursues a new career in photography, with a goal of making people happy.

“In nature photography,” he says, “we don’t have any grudges. We don’t have an ax to grind.”

When he reflects on his change in focus, he says, “I had this voice that said to me, 'There’s something going on out there and you’re missing it.’” He decided at that moment to leave his law practice.

Turner admits that “putting the work into a new skills can be threatening.” But he says, “Every day is a new adventure, and you never know what is going to happen.”

Receive Divine Inspiration

— Dr. Ernest Holmes and Raymond Charles Barker

A winter scene in snow with a brigh.

True prayer is the correction of a belief in separation. We forget that man and God are one, and in our confusions troubles are born out of duality. All demonstrations are the result of unity. Our method of accepting these ideas is to believe that we are receiving them and then to act upon their guidance.

As we affirm that we are divinely inspired to right action, we receive the idea that is born of the Spirit to meet the need of the moment. …

Today is the day of the Lord. Today is the day of salvation. Each hour is alive with inspiration, guidance and vision. God’s pure ideas are now functioning in my consciousness. They lead me into pleasant ways, and I work in peace and joy.

I know exactly what to do, how to do it, and I follow through with accomplishment. All indecision is forever dissipated, and divine inspiration is mine now and forevermore. God and I are one, not two. God’s Mind and my mind are one, not two. There is only this one source delivering to me what I need to know at the time I need to know it.

I act with authority, exactness and love, for God is my inspiration now.
