Tips for Bringing
Your Spiritual Self to Work

Holly DuckworthSometimes it feels like being spiritual is something we do at home or on Sundays. But at work we need to put on our game face and just get ’er done. Successful entrepreneur Holly Duckworth, who writes the Spirituality in Business column for Science of Mind magazine, expands on her column in the February issue and explains how to bring our spiritual selves to work in this video. Words of Wisdom from Murphy, the Human Whisperer

If you are unable to adopt an older dog consider adopting an older person. Many older people are very sweet, kind and filled with compassion. You can take them for walks, feed them and pet them, they love all three.

Older people are everywhere and in most cases you can adopt them without having to pay a fee or do any paper work. If you have lots of love to give and need a place to give it, older people are what you are looking for. The thing that will most surprise you is how much love they will give you and how little you need to do in return.

Murphy watches over his human, Rev. Bob Luckin, when he isn’t working on his column, Murphy’s Dogma, now in every issue of Science of Mind magazine.

Shift Negative Habits with Mindfulness

Jack KornfieldMindfulness can help you improve your health and shift negative habits within weeks, says pioneering meditation teacher Jack Kornfield. In a time when 70 percent of people in the western world over age 55 have at least one chronic illness, Kornfield describes mindfulness as “loving attention” to hold our life experience and emotions “with tenderness and understanding.” Through touching stories about people dealing with anger and grief, in this video Kornfield explains the benefits of mindfulness mediation for body and soul. The Challenge of Faith
—Dr. Ernest Holmes

Ernest HolmesThe Christian philosophy bids us not to look with doleful introspection on previous errors; but coming daily to the Fountain of Life to be renewed in mind, thought and spirit, we shall find that we also are renewed in bodily conditions and in physical affairs.

The [Judeo-Christian] scripture boldly declares the triumph of the Spirit of Christ over all evil: Be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind; by the putting off of the old person and the putting on of the new person, which is Christ. “Lo, I am with your always, even unto the end of the world.”

How to Change Your Life,” page 198.
