Prayer for World Peace
Ernest Holmes

Dr. Ernest HolmesI know there is but One Mind, which is the Mind of God, in which all people live and move and have their being.

I know there is a divine pattern for humanity, and within this pattern there is infinite harmony and peace, cooperation, unity, and mutual helpfulness.

I know that the mind of man, being one with the Mind of God, shall discover the method, the way, and the means best fitted to permit the flow of divine Love between individuals and nations.

Thus harmony, peace, cooperation, unity, and mutual helpfulness will be experienced by all.

I know there shall be a free interchange of ideas, of cultures, of spiritual concepts, of ethics, of educational systems, and scientific discoveries—for all good belongs to all alike.

I know that, because the divine Mind has created us all, we are bound together in one infinite and perfect unity.

In bringing about world peace, I know that all people and all nations will remain individual, but unified for the common purpose of promoting peace, happiness, harmony, and prosperity.

I know that deep within every person, the divine pattern of perfect peace is already implanted.

I now declare that in each man and in leaders of thought everywhere, this Divine Pattern moves into action and form, to the end that all nations and all people shall live together in peace, harmony, and prosperity forever.

So it is—Now.

You Have Made a Difference!
Rev. Chris Plym

Food Packing

A big “thank you” to all of our readers who contributed  to the Centers for Spiritual Living Global Services Food Packing Event via online or by mail, and kudos to all the centers who participated in Global Outreach Sunday this year. On “Make a Difference Day,” October 27, 2012, the donations were used to package 150,000 meals to go to school children in Tanzania. This means that 1,000 children per day will be fed a nutritious meal for five months—amazing!

Mile Hi Church hosted the event this year. More than 450 volunteers worked throughout the day to package the food. Global Services so appreciates all of you who made this happen. Without your prayers and donations, it would not have been such an outstanding success. Our volunteers worked hard and enjoyed “being the presence of Spirit.” We appreciate each and every one of them.

Sending LoveThe link below is an updated Global Services video of this event.

Feast your eyes and congratulations to all for the manifestation of the Global Vision through committed, loving, and giving hearts.

Preview of New Film on Gandhi

Mahatma Gandhi

In the November 2012 issue of Science of Mind, the article “Arun Gandhi—Messenger for Peace” explored the lessons of peace and nonviolence that Arun learned from his grandfather and has been teaching in his own way for decades. As detailed in the article, filmmakers Cynthia Lukas and Kell Kearns recently followed Gandhi to India, filming his visits to sites where he learned at the feet of the Mahatma.  Their footage now forms an importance piece of their forthcoming documentary The Hero's Journey of Mahatma Gandhi.

Lukas and Kearns, creators of the films Rumi Returning and Globalized Soul, have completed about half of the filming and are anticipating a 2014 release.

“We plan to go to India again and to Bangladesh, where Gandhi made his most heroic walk for unity at the age of seventy-seven.  We would also like to film in South Africa, where he first began to experiment with satyagraha, insistence on truth, and to interview his granddaughter, Ela, Arun’s sister,” Lukas tells us. “Finally, we would like to return to London to interview a few more Gandhi experts there.”

Lukas and Kearns have just completed an extended trailer for the film, which they are making available to our readers.  To view this preview, click here.
