Science of Mind

Science of Mind Supports Prison Ministries

For many years, Science of Mind magazine has been involved in supporting prison ministries all over the country. We recently received a letter from Aikya Param, who directs the Freedom Ministry at the Oakland Center for Spiritual Living. This community has an annual drive to raise money to provide subscriptions to Science of Mind magazine for those involved in their prison ministry. Param says, “We send a year’s subscription of Science of Mind magazine to prison inmates. This year the program will support over one hundred inmates in this way. We surveyed the inmates to find out how they felt about the magazine. Here are some replies that I thought you would enjoy.”

In regard to Science of Mind magazine, I love it! I love it! I love it! I love the Daily Guides. It provides me with spiritual nourishment before I start my day. I read and reread every article, especially the ones that talk about “Spiritual Mind Treatment.” Ever since I read the March issue (2011), I’ve been hooked on this topic.
—Kamau from Michigan

Science of Mind magazine has helped me with spirituality in believing that there is a higher power greater than myself.
— Jermal from New York State

I have been receiving Science of Mind magazine for two years now, and I cannot tell you how helpful it has been. I am truly grateful to all of you for your kindness, compassion, and generosity. Thank you so very much.
— Joseph from Illinois

We (those that are aware) are experiencing a spiritual transition/cycle, and I’m striving to do the inner work that I need to do to remain humble and receptive to the spiritual shift so that my energy can be in tune with the higher levels of vibration. I need you to know how much the Science of Mind magazine helps me to grow in my understanding. Thank you for touching with empathy the lives of us that are physically confined and sharing the teachings of Science of Mind.
— Larry from Connecticut

I have never read anything from Science of Mind that I was not blessed by. Andriette Earl has always been a blessing to my soul. I also am always blessed by Barry Ebert. I love the statement of Dr. Holmes in the Sermon by the Sea, “Give me 1,000 people who embrace and live the Science of Mind, and I will transform the world.”
— John from Florida

The teaching of Ernest Holmes has given me direction as I continue to explore levels of myself every day. Without Science of Mind, I would still be in the predicament of confusion. Thank you for helping awaken me. I hope to continue to be a part of Freedom Ministry from now on, even from where I stand. You just say the word. I have been sharing Science of Mind’s “Daily Guides” with others here and they, too, would like to become a part of this ministry.
— Earl from Illinois

I don’t read too many books other than philosophy books, so the Science of Mind magazine gives me a positive base to center my mind.

Freddy from Texas

Due to the lack of discipline and consciousness of many of my peers, conversation is very limited and void of spiritual confirmation that we as humanity should share. Therefore, you all’s material [Science of Mind] confirms the oneness I rarely experience here.
— James from Illinois

I really like Science of Mind magazine because of the Daily Guides. They help to keep me focused and humble. The articles are often so inspiring and enlightening.
— Michael from California

I enjoy reading the articles. It lifts my spirits and gives me hope while being locked up in my cell twenty-three hours a day.
— Ronald from Texas

I really enjoy reading the Science of Mind magazine. I like the knowledge and spiritual insights. They have given me an avenue to channel my negative thoughts and change them into positive ones through meditation. They also remind me to believe in myself and the greatness that resides within. I love those affirmations! Thanks!
— Curry from Illinois
